HARVARD HAS NO WALK OVER WITH WILLIAMS Holy Cross Holds Yale to Low Score Amherst Plays Vermont Tie Game Lafayette Scarcs Princeton. The Harvard.William contest Sat. urday went TO Harvard, 10 to 0. Will liams was expected TO make strong showing against the crimson and fulfill. ed the prophecy. During the first half Harvard could not cross the Williams line, the only score coming from a goal from placement by Burr. In the sec ond period the Cambridge eleven was forced to work hard 10 score its solitary touchdown. Yale made poor showing against Holy Cross. The Wor. eester team did not show any alarming ability and was unable TO gain any ground. Yale, however, made but three touchdowns. Pennsylvania and Prince. ton had plenty TO do. penn” barely defeated penn” state, and Princeton played Lafayette a tie game, TO O. The latter contest was one Of the sur prises of the day. II was expected that Princeton would make frst.class showing against Lafayette, but results showed many imperfections in the “Tigers” play. Amherst struggled with Vermont without scoring and, consider ing the strength shown by the latter eleven, Amherst was lucky to get away with tie game. Wesleyan had a rough.and tumble match with Union ct Schenectady, N. Y, in which II play ers were forced to the side lines on account Of hard knocks. West Point found Trinity easy, and Annapolis won handily from Dickinson. The results foIIow.--
