A slashing first half scoring spree brought the priced triumph to the Blue. Yale won the climactic contest for Levi Jackson, its colored cap tain, and 300-pound Coach Her. man Hickman and, when the exciting battle ended, both were carried away on the shoulders OF the Blue squad. The seasons biggest Yale bowl crowd of 1000 thrilled in the nippy air as the Bulldogs rolled up % points in the first half to wrap up the ball game. The hero of the scoring was jackson, who closed his brilliant collegiate foot ball career.
