Cincinnati Pittsburgh Ed Senay is Yale Star AS Connecticut Bows NEW HAVEN, Conn, Sept. %. Husky 175-pounder Ed Senay unleashed two long touchdown runs today and led Yale to Is to triumph over the University of Connecticut. Senay’s IS and 36-yard sprints featured the 1850 football in augural in the huge Bowl before $4,000 fans. Yale surprised by tallying a touchdown in each period against a Connecticut squad that had been rated higher. Except for Senay’s scoring plays, the contest lacked any sustained thrills. Except for Sophomore Joe Bet tencourt, Connecticut lacked luster. Yale, however. not only had Senay, but showed an able passer and receiver in Stu Tisdale and Brad Quackenbush and a talented ballhawk in Alan Peters. While Yale was moving along and scoring, Connecticut was able to threaten only three times. Two of the Connecticut assaults fizzled out on the 10 and the other on the three.
