FAR WESTERN FOOTBALL Southern California has fairly easy one on top this week, enter taining the relatively weak Stan ford Indians at Los Angeles. It should get the Trojans in top condition for their important en- counter with U. C. L. A. at Los Angeles on November 22. In other conference games over the weekend Oregon State was held to a l3–7 win over Stanford, a surprising score in view of the Indians crippled condition and obvious lack of class this year. Oregon ran up a 34–7 score on Idaho, showing continuing i’m prOVement after an uncertain early season start. Washington invades Berkeley this weekend to try it’s luck against California’s pow Werful Bears and U. C. l. A. plays Ore gon States at Corvallis in a game which, by itself, may completely eliminate U. C. L. A. from any further consideration in the con ference run off. Washington State plays Oregon at Pullman and Montana has a toughie scheduled with Idaho at Moscow.
