Forbes Scores Thrice In Gator 34–7 Win TAMPA, Fla, Nov. 1-lR-It was a hot day for 5000 fans at Phillips field today but Bob by Forbes was twice as hot. The fleet Florida back, who is from scrimmage, scored on three long runs to give the Florida Gators a 34–7 victory over Furman. Forbes broke up the football game in the last three minutes of the second half. He carried the ball twice in those three minutes, the first time for a 81 yard touchdown and the Sec ond for a Al yard score sprint. Forbes finished off with 100 yards gained from scrimmage on II tries, sitting out much of the last two periods after he put Florida well out in front.
