GAIN ROUND ENDS. Harvard Plays a Fast Game With Will liams. CRIMSON TACKLES WEAK. Visitors Backs Advance Ball Through Cam bridge Line. CRIMSON TACKLES WEAK. Cambridge, Sept S0,-The Williams football team was beaten by Harvard today by the score of 29 to 0. Although the Harvard lineup was constantly changed to give as many of the subs as possible a chance of playing, the team kept we’ll together and played a fast, offensive game Against the Will lams ends the Harvard interference was irresistible, enabling Parker and Gierasch to make some brilliant runs around the ends. The plays through the line, however, were not so well executed, as the backs did not fall into the tandem formation with sufficient eXactness. The Will liams backs started in with great deal of dash, but, together with the rest OF the team, weakened considerably by the second half. Harvard’s chief weak ness was in the tackle positions. Not only did Williams make her only gains in the second half through Blagdon and Lewis, the substitutes, but even In Swan and Eaton found weak spot now and then. The back field, how ever, did some splendid playing. Gierasch, who replaced Parker, in the first half, made two 50-yard runs for touchdowns. Daily played his usual brilliant game, and ran the team to perfection. The line-up:- HARVARD. WILLIAMS.
