M|DWEEK GAMES IN FOOT BALL WORLD Harvard Scores Three Times Against Bates and Tigers Make Fl Points. Again yesterday there was no great amount of scoring against opponents by the stronger foot ball elevens. The Penn sylvania men found Villanova a hardy foe and won by only eleven points. The Carlisle Indians were able to beat Villa nova only 10 to the other day. Harward met Bates and made total of is points. This doesn’t compare very we’ll with Browns total against Bates last week Brown disposed of the latter team by score of “a to 4. Harvard beat Bates 80 to last year. but no doubt is better satisfied to make fewer points and yet retain an intact goal line. Princeton’s opponent yesterday was Stevens, and the Tigers made less than half as many points as they did against he same team a year ago. when they won ~ to o. An napolis’ total against St. John was four points short of last years total. The scores follow: Pennsylvania, IL; Villanova. o. Harvard. Is; Bates, @. Princeton, n: Stevens, o. Annapolis, ID: ST. Johns, o. Williston, e; Exeter, 4.
