Daddy Of 10-Day-0|d Son Leads Huskers To 20–7 Triumph Hopp Is Work Horse In Missouri Contest; Christmun Halted by tne ASSOCIATED fLesk LINCOLN. Nebr., Oct. 26.-Harry Hopp was the work horse Of Ne braska football today in its 20-to-7 Big Six victory over Missouri. You won’t find the name of this stolid, black-haired Husker half back in the scoring summary, but he was everywhere else. Hopp, 81 and father of a 10-day-old son, blasted through the Missouri line, twisted around the Tiger ends, passed for a touchdown and punted. Petsch, Rohrig Take Hand. The reason the Junior star didn’t score in this battle before more than 5000 homecoming fans-largest outpouring ever to see Blk Six contest-was that Roy Petsch for sock his old job of blocking to gam Dol SO yards for the first Husker tally. Then Herman Rohrig shook of the arnica and doctors wrappings long enough to hoist two consecutive passes to Luther for a total OF 48 yards and a second marker. In the final period Hopp tossed to Luther for the third touchdown. Christman Finally Stopped. For SO minutes Paul Christman and his Missouri mates were stymied by the tough Huskers, who were determined that there would be no third consecutive victory for the Tigers. In his previous starts against Nebraska, Christman had pitched victories. But today he was stopped most Of the way. He completed only one of his precision tosses in the first half although the last-minute score was manufactured by his trusty | right arm
