Nebraska Gets Lead In Loop as Power Routs Oklahoma NORMAN, Okla, Nov. 2.-Nebraska’s mighty Cornhuskers powered their way to 13-to-0 victory over the Sooners of Oklahoma today to take over first place in the Big Six Conference gridiron race and move within striking distance of their first title since 1897. AS record-breaking crowd of more than $4,000 looked on, the Huskers drove 80 yards to one touch down in the second quarter, 40 yards to another in the final period, tied the Sooner ground attack in knots and blasted the home clubs over head game. Thrown back twice in the first quarter with the goal line only 5 yards away, the Nebraskans finally went to work in earnest. Helpless as they were, most of the way, the Sooners had at least three chances to score but couldn’t break away.
