Illinois Powers Its Way Over Ohio State, 28–7 COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov 15–1llinois powered and fnessed its way to % = to 7 victory over Ohio States hapless Bucks today before 70,036 fans, wheeling to two start ling-fast touchdowns in the final session to grab easily a verdict which had been doubtful through the first three quarters. Going into the Big Nine struggle a 20-point favorite, the Illini were hard pressed through the first three periods in which they built up a 14–7 edge, the third period being all in favor of the underdog Bucks.
