  Southern Methodist Defeats Missouri COLUMBIA, Mo, Oct. 26.-(P)- Southern Methodist university did a convincing job of debunking the grid experts today, capitalizing on three University of Missouri miscues in the second quarter to upset the favored Tigers II to 0 as %, 900 partisan fans watched the interconference game here today. The Tigers were guilty of a weak kick and two fumDles in that period and those opportunities were all the Mustangs needed, for their fast-charging line kept the Missourians hard-oressed on their Of fensive maneuvers all afternoon. The Mustangs struck for their first touchdown early in the sec ond stanza with Frank Payne whipping a ten-yard pass to quarterback Bob Ramsey.
