Canfield’s champion. Kalamazoo’s quarterback. Broc Lowry’s Hometown Story

At Canfield High School in Canfield, Ohio, Broc Lowry helped bring the Cardinals their first football state championship before becoming Western Michigan’s quarterback. In the 2022 Ohio Division III final, he ran for three touchdowns, threw another and caught a touchdown pass.

On October 10, 2026, Lowry supplied a four-touchdown afternoon: three passing and one rushing as Western Michigan beat Kent State 38–7. He threw for a career-high 257 yards, connecting with nine different receivers.

The opening score was a 42-yard throw to Adam Parks. Lowry later ran in from two yards out and threw two more touchdown passes. Canfield knows the range of things its former quarterback can do. Kalamazoo is seeing it, too.
