SYRACUSE ELEVEN HUMBLES BROWN Orange Team Profits by Greater Weight, Making Only Touchdown. Providence, Oct. IS. Syracuse defeated the Brown University football eleven to-day By score OF to 0. The Brown supporters were well pleased with the showing that their team made against the heavy New York aggregaton. Hard, straight football was the rule most of the time. Fumbling played an important part in the game, both sides offending frequently. The size Of the visitors made it almost impossible for the Brown boys to use the forward pass, more than dozen being incompleted or intercepted. It wasn’t until the final quarter tina. the losers made any Roadway with this style Of play.
