PSYCHIC CHEER ANT, SUCCESS VIBRATIONS. Won Dartmouth Game for Harvard on Saturday. Harvard is inaugurating a newer style of football according to recent developments. Before the game with Dartmouth Coach Haughton exhorted the selected ‘roeters” and cheering squads to tremb1e and oscillate in such manner that they would exude success vibrations. and with these confound the visiting team. Now, ac- cording to Bin Randeli, Dartmouth s head football coach. the vibrations were eminently successful. Says MT. Randall concerning the game with Harvard Saturday: Tt was the psychic cheer that did it. couldn’t hear it. for I am inflicted with what metaphysicians call psych- ia1 deafness, but a blind man might have felt it. Haughton did it. His call for all good men to yibrate at the same time put our boys out of busi- ness. Several times we were on our way to a goal or a touchdown when Harvard men all over the universe sent a wireless call to Soldiers field and beat us to a pulp. You saw it. Every : body saw it. Tad Jones prayed for Yale victory two years or so ago but this psychic business was too much for me- They tell me a successful four ply psychic is inclined to be emaciated skinny and as thin as a lath. I couldn’t train down to a spindleshanlSs in twen- ty years, but I want Dartmouth to have a chance even against a. psychic cheer. The men from Hanover fum- bled. tumbled and jllmbled and never knew what was doing. A bas with the psychic cheer, say I.”-New York World Live Tips
