SOUTHERN FOOTBALL ALABAMA BRUSHES BIRMINGHAM BOYS Tuscaloosa, October 1.-(Special.) )-Ala- bama had little trouble In defeating Bir- mingham college this afternoon, the score being 25 to 0. The game was slow and toward the end became sluggish on ac- count of the terrific heat that exhausted the men. In weight the teams were pretty evenly balanced, with the metropolis a shade the heavier. Otherwise, it was all Alabama. The visitors were very slow. Only three more points were made dur ing the game, Moody dropping another goal.
