Captain Coy played for Yale the first time this year. He jumped into the gameFa while in the second half,, and it was he who engineered the forward pass that gave the second touchdown to Eli He did not do any tacklng on the defense scrimmaging. Yale had scored by the time Coy had en- tered the fracas, thanks to the block ing of Philbin, and the fast work of Savage, so that her brace was not caused by the presence on the gridiron of Coy, but he was a help by his inn proved bunting and onside kicking alone. The biggest score of the day was run up in Annapolis, when St. Johns Col 1ege defeated Eastern College of Hampton. Vt, 92–0. Two of St. Johns touchdowns were made after receiv ing the ball on the kick off. After getting the ball each time, the victor ious eleven averaged three plays before crossing the Eastern line.
