WINS BY II TO 3. Swarthmore Loses to Lafayette in Well PLAYED Game. EAsToN, Pa. October 7.-IT game that abounded in sensational runs. Lafaycite this afternoon defeated SSvarthmore eleven by the score of II to 8. Swarthmore scored a field goal. Melick kicking the oval between the goal posts from the os-yard line. Il was principally due to I.afayetse’s throwing of the forward pass that the I1as;on college succeeded in downing its rivals. Spikgel.
