Harvard did good job against Maine, but its rival Yale, had trouble in dis. posing OF the strong Syracuse eleven. The New Workers showed plenty OF fight and held the blue scoreless in the first half. A long forward pass and brilliant work by Coy scored the only touchdown, and this late in the second period. One of the surprises was the defeat Ford ham handed Amherst, The Fordham back field was aggressive throughout, and took advantage of Amherst’s slowness in the end positions.
