Then Harvard braced up 1t was all sudden. unexpected and sensational that the spectators could not AT first believe their eyes From denorazed broken eleven the Crimson team pulled together for one final effort. On the 25-yard line she held Dartmouth for downs; two minutes later she had carried the bah over the line and four plays following the next kickoff the ball was swept in the opposite direction for another touchdown. On the 5-yard line Farmer threw himself forward from behind, but his arms slid down Kernan’s legs and the big haIfback plunged forward over the line. With the exception Of these last i’ve minutes of play, Dartmouth completely outcIassed the Grim son team. Her backs started faster hit the line lower and harder, and ploughed through in a way that brought CONSERVATION the Harvard camp The main attack aimed between left tackle and guard This side of Harvards line was thor oughfare Tor the Dartmouth eleven, and at al times they gained through It at will In the first half Harvard forced back seventy straight yards on gains through this spot, and only a FUN bic prevented the visitors from scoring In the second half they had better success Dillon returned the pgskn hfty-sx yards on the 1rst kickoff by wonderful hurding run and then the Dartmouth backs started n hammer and tongs assault on the Crimson line.
