Return of 4 Players BoIsfers Dartmouth For Game With Navy ANNAPOLIS, Oct. 2.-Dartmouth will practically be playing its first football game of the season at 2 pm. tomorrow and Navy wishes it actually was the first game for both. Four of Dartmouth’S better players who missed last Saturdays opening 1876 loss against Holy Cross are ready. Navy would like to forget last Saturdays 6–6 tie with William & Mary and start anew. 1t felt its first game jitterS and BUNDLES among a green backfleld Stymied it more than anything else. QuarterbackS Ready. Coach TuSS McLaughry will be able to call on his first two Dart mouth quarterbacks, Jim Miller and Bill Beagle, for the first time this year. Frank Krol, the first string left halfback, and Mike Papantones, center, also will be getting their first taste of 1858 action. After the Holy Cross game, Coach McLaughry thought the guards he had on the left would do better on the right and vice versa. The wholesale swap will be tried against Navy. Coach Eddie Erdlatz, on the other hand, made only one i’m portant switch after the William & Mary game. He promoted Jack Garrow, sophomore half back. from the second to the starting eleven. Navy Ground Gamer. Garrow was the best Navy ground gamer with nine carries for 118 yards. including a 81 yard touchdown sprint. The game is the Homecoming for Navy alumni and one of the Hall of Fame contests being held this season throughout the country. Rear Admiral John H. Babe Brown, jr., will be honored at halftime as Navy’s first selecton to footballs Hall of Fame. Brown, now commandant of the 4th Naval District in Philadelphia, was guard who helped beat Army three straight times in 1902. He was a field-goal kicker.
