  Missouri Crushes Iowa State, 49–⁠7 COLUMBIA, Mo-, Oct. 23.- Missouri started slowly, but gained momentum to crush Iowa State, 1877, today in the Tigers Big Seven Conference football opener. A crowd estimated at $4,000, the largest ever to see q contest between the two teams, was on hand for Missouri’s fourth straight triumph. The Tiger touchdowns were scored by seven different play ers.
