GENERALS BLANK WILDCATS, $40 LEXINGTON, Va, Oct. Is. RWashington and Lees superior man-power showed in the sec ond half here today as the Gen erals roared to a 32–0 triumph over Davidson for their third straight Southern Conference victory before a Homecoming crowd of 5000. Held to a lone touchdown In the first half by the scrappy Wildcats, the Generals added another score in the third period and then rushed three TALES across in the final canto. The first half was a yawning affair for the crowd which had to hurry to make the morning kick off for the first game of the scheduled double header in Lex ington today. Penalties halted scoring drives of both teams as the frequent horn blowing bro ought means from both sides OF Wilson field. Although Coach Bill Story’s single wing offense never penetrated beyond the Washington and Lee 20 yard line, the wild cats kept up a steady effort that gained ample yardage through and around the Generals for ward wall. Dyke Norman, the Class A General center, twice stepped in to half Davidson as they moved past midfield.
