  Cut in Unbeaten List Due as Star EIeyens Clash This Week by me Assoeiofed Ffsss NEW YORK, Oct. 14.-That dwindling collection of unbeaten football teams, thinned last Saturday by the fall of such stalwarts as Michigan, Yale. Stanford and st Mary’s, is due for another reduce ton this week when some of the better all-victorious outfits come to grips with each other. Having met and mastered Mich igan, 20–⁠13, Army returns to West Point to find its bid for Esd consecutive victory challenged by a Columbia team that is making a habit of spelling perfect records. The Lions ran their own victory string to three games Saturday by bouncing Yale out of the unbeaten class, 1920, just a week after they had put the first blotch of the season on Nays slate. Texas, which had all it could han die in turning back Oklahoma, 20–⁠13, for its fourth win in a row, now must meet the invasion of an Arkansas team which blanked Bay lor, 1870, and is unbeaten in four starts, although once tied. y, ‘Bama-vol Game Dixie’s Top. The Columbia Army fuss head lines Saturdays Eastern program, which also includes several intersectional games. Virginia, 1873 VIC tor over “. M. The Wildcats turned back Minnesota, 14–⁠7, Saturday for their third triumph In as many starts. Wisconsfn, which whipped Ohio State, 20–⁠7, will be at Illinois, defeated by Indiana, 14–⁠7. Iowa. 21–⁠7 victory over Nebraska, visits In diana, and Purdue invades Ohio State in other Big Nine engage ments, while Wyoming has an in tersectional date at Minnesota. Full Big Six Program. A full program in the Big Six sends Kansas State to Oklahoma, Nebraska to Kansas and Iowa State to Missouri. Southeastern Conference pair ings, in addition to Alabama Ten nesee, will find Georgia Tech, NJ winner over Mississippi, at Louisiana state, which stampeded Texas A. and M, 1873; Vanderbilt, 200 conuueror of Florida, at Kentucky, and Auburn, which whipped st. Louis, 27–⁠7, at Tulane, 25–⁠6 loser to Rice. Oklahoma A. and M. will be at Georgia, Miami at Florida, Louisian Tech at Mississippi, Furman at The Citadel, Davidson at v. M. L., Richmond at Duke, North Carolima State at Wake Forest and William and Mary at Washington and Lee. San Francisco plays Mississippi State at Memphis. In addition to the Arkansas Texas struggle other Southwest Conference games sends Southern Methodist to Rice and Texas Christian to Texas A. and M. Bay lor will be at Texas Tech for nom league 60. Washington Faces Trojans. On the Pacific Coast, Washing ton, which finally hit the win column by trouncing Washington State, 21–⁠7, invades Southern Cali fornia, upset by Oregon State, 60, and Washington State goes to Oregon, $40 winner over Mon tana, for conference tussles.
