And Purdue can win the title for either Ohio State or Michigan by dumping Indiana something not outside the realm OF possibility in view OF past games between these old rivals and Purdue’s record this season Last Saturday Michigan handed the Boilermakers a 27–⁠13 setback when freshman Pete Elliott threw three touchdown passes and scored another touchdown himself. Ohio State, meanwhile. scored a a hr5t-period touchdown against Illinois nursed that lead along until the final quarter. and with Ollie Cline providing most OF the fire works. smashed out a 27–⁠2 victory. But the big upset was Iowa’s last quarter. 9019. victory over Minnesota-the Gophers’ fourth straight loss.
