YALE OVERTAKES BROWN TO WIN Eli Scores Two Touch downs In Last Five Minutes NEW HAVEN, Conn, Oct. 25.--Com- ing from behind with only five minutes to play, the Yale eleven which had been outplayed by Brown, suddenly took on new strength and forced over two |touchdowns, winning the annual combat this afternoon, 13 to 3. Brown scored field goal in the first prior and to all appearances had the game clinched until Cottle, Yale half back, broke away from the scrimmage for a 57 yard run over the visitors goal line. Cottle also kicked the goal. This demoralized the Bears and with the game nearly over they went to pieces letting the Eli backs rip through for gain after gain until Lindley substitute for Allen crossed the goal. Cottle failed tC kick the goal this time. Weak Defense Both teams were weak on the defense and strong on the offense. Brown had fast back field and time and again the Brunonian ball carriers would get away for long end runs which kept the spectators on their feet. Early in the game Keefer, receiving Cottie’s kick on his own 9 yard line, ran 48 yards before he was downed. Yale’s backfield was considerably slower and the interference many times held the runner up, but it remained for Cottle, in his run for first Eli tonch- down to have the honor of going the longest distance, 57 yards in the bowl to date,
