Tennessee Downs Ole Miss On Muddy Field KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Nov. 24.--A brilliant 60-yard run by Hardness after he hal intercepted a forward pass, the extra point and kick from placement by Neff gave Tennessee 8 10-to-0 victory over University of Mississippi in their zane on mud soaked field this afternoon. The Ten nesseans rusled the game through out but largely because of the treacherous field did not make a touchdown until the final period Fumhles and falls were frequent and there were several injuries from the hazardous play. Plunges by Robinson and Bone were responsible for Tennessee’s gains in straight football and Hoff and Stringle bore the brunt of Mis- sissippi’s defense Neffs placement kick came in the first period from the 25-yard line.
