KENTUCKY DOWNS CINCINNATI14 TO 0 CINCINNATI, O.. Oct 6.-(speciaL) ) The University of Kentucky football team invaded Ohio today and earned decisive 14 to victory over the University of Cincinnati eleven. al- though the Wildcats from the blue grass failed to demonstrate anything like the form that they should, al- lowing the Bearcats to come through and complete several passes for good gains. The Kentucky boys outplayed their opponents throughout the contest but seemed to have lost quite a lot of their original pep and fight. Cin- cinnati was never nearer the goal of the Wildcats than the 3o-yard line, where Kentucky always braced. The day was bitter cold and great for the gridiron sport and this ms have had something to do with the playing of the Kentuckyians, who have been working out for two weeks in ter rife heat. After the first quarter the game became a kicking duel with both teams struggling back and forth between the 30-yard lines. The Ken lucky punters gained the decision over the Cincinnati booters as the game progressed.
