The NFL Draft, by college

Every NFL draft since the first, in 1936, tied back to the school that sent each player, with the drafts of the rival AAFC (1947–49) and AFL (1961–64) before the leagues drafted together in 1967. Pick a year for the full draft, or see which programs and conferences have sent the most players to the NFL.

Counts are NFL picks in rounds 1 to 7, the rounds in our source (drafts before 1994 ran 8 to 34 rounds); the AAFC and the AFL drafted many of the same players, so their picks are on each year’s page but not in the counts. Drafts before 1967, and the 1988 and 1996 drafts our main source lacks, come from Wikipedia’s draft articles. No NFL draft is on file for 1953: its article’s picks don’t add up.
