Mudia Reuben’s story reaches from Kansas City to college football—and to water wells in Nigeria.
The USF receiver, a Park Hill South graduate, started the Nigeria Water Project while at Stanford. By USF’s September 15 report, the project had built six wells. The school said some residents’ journeys for water had shrunk from miles to steps.
Reuben graduated from Stanford in three years and moved to USF, where he pursued graduate study in pharmaceutical nanotechnology–biomedical engineering. The Oracle’s reporting describes a project managed from afar, with calls and careful attention to the construction. His football biography supplies the hometown and school. The wells supply the payoff: a receiver using his reach for something people need every day.
