Late in the third quarter, Phillips took a handoff from Georgia’s 30 and ran 31 yards to Alabama’s 39. That possession ended without points. In the fourth quarter, with the score still 17–17, his 22-yard run crossed midfield again. Bo Walker followed with a 37-yard gain, and Peyton Woodring finished the drive with the 23-yard field goal that put Georgia ahead. Official play-by-play

Both Phillips runs appear in the video, from snap through tackle. The second did not score a touchdown; it helped build the possession that decided a three-point game. For the former Pebblebrook sprinter, the night ended with a career-high rushing total in his first start. Published Hometown Story Georgia postgame notes Official play-by-play
