TRINITY WILL PLAY HOWARD PAYNE HERE GAME – SCHEDULED FOR FRI. DAY AFTERNOON OF THIS WEEK. visitors Have Fast Team as 4 Evidenced by the score of q and % With Baylor Uni yersity. Trinity football team will play lis iirst at home game here on Friday afternoon, when Howard Payne col iege Of Brentwood viii bring fast team here to do battle with the varsity worriors. Coach, Boles has ocen working hard to get his team BACK on its feet after going against TIE fastest teams in the T. |. A. A. during the early part OF the season. Trinity started late in the season 10 develop team and before team work wss developed the squad was sent against A. and NJ. and crippled IN SO that 1t was impossible to pull them together for the game at Dallas last Saturday. but the coach expects to ! make much better showing on Fri day, notwithstanding the Howard Payne team is equal almost to the Baylor bunch. The i’ve old men who have been out since the A. K NJ. game will be back in the lineup Friday and II will make a difference in The resuit. Anderson is tower of strength but he could not hold the heavy Baylor team alone. Now he will have the support of Mckenzie at tackle, Kimble and Fersuson at guard. King will run the team and Ward will play end With these letter men in the lineup and Garrett and Hoffman in the back field it is a pretty good guess that Trinity will give good account of herself. The Howard Payne team early in the season played Baylor a 8 and 0 game, taking the short end Of the score, but Coach Henry is d hard worker and no doubt has strength ened up some since playing Baylor. in game last week Howard Payne PLAYED scoreless tie aaginsr the Daniel Baker team. Figuring from comparative score Howard Payne has shade the better of the argument, but when considering that Trinity was crippled when she played Baylor it looks like the game here Friday woald be a good one, Friends OF the college should show themselves at Yoakum park on Friday after icon at o’clock. Go gu, and help Trinity win the game
