Although Brown scored a touchdown in the final period, Harwards subeleven was playing and no credit goes to Brown. On account of the slippery condition of the field both teams resorted to a kicking game. with apparently no advantage TO either side. except in the second period, when Coolidge blocked one of Browns punts, the ball rolling over the goal line, where he fell on 1t for touchdown. The forward pass was used. but to no attempts being blocked by Harvard, while Harvard. on the other hand, sue ceeded in two for long gains. BrickIey n Star. Three times he booted the pigskin over the goal posts, once from the SS-yard line and his other two from the 25-yard line. Crowther, the speedy little quarter back of Brown, was the hero of his team. time and time again running back punts for long gains. and his run of 50 yards for a touchdown was the feature of the game.
