CAME TO PENNSY Cornell Defeated at Football, but Victors Fail to Show Much Glass. GOAL is OFTEN IN DANGER Kansas and Missouri and Marquette and NOtre Dame Play Ties and by the Same Score. Philadelphia, Nov 25.-Pennsy’s red and blue futtered in victory yesterday at the close of the annual game with Cornell on Franklin field, the big, red team from ithaca bowling in defeat, IL to 6, after a hard, fast gridiron struggle marked by good and bad playing Clever booting by Quarterback Butler of Cornell, who place-kicked two goals alone, STAYED off a shutout for the Wis itors Two touchdowns and as many goals gave the Quakers their points. Disappointment was pictured on the face of every Pennsylvania rooter despite the triumph of the local eleven At times the red and blue machine lacked the dash it has shown in sew eral games this season, and some of the plays were marred by fumbling and poor handling of punts. Cornell, on the other hand, played dashing. spectacular game at times, presenting perfect interference to help the runner with the ball. On several occasions the slam-bang offense of the Cornell squad threatened disaster for the Quakers, but the latter braced when things looked dangerous and held the enemy repeatedly.
