Many still claim the Washburn team has never shown up to form and that reversal from the | Ilstless play ought to occur this week. Scrimmage last night will be sup plemented with signal running and down field practice tonight after which Coach Stewart will lecture his men on the plan of the battle. Nothing is be- | ing left undone to help the chances of the Blue, but it is impossible to get the cripples into condition to play | and it will be a much weaker team | than it was considered at the begin ming of the season. The faculty a1l-the-vear coach sys- , tenn at Nebraska is not meeting with popular approval and King Cole is to be replaced next year, according to the : reports. The system is one coach for all athletic teams and rl1e consequence , seems to be that one man can not fill such a bill. King Cole is given credit by most critics for having accom- Iplished everything Nebraska could hope for Whether the overwhelming defeat at the hands of Minnesota is &C countable for the decision on change : of man is not known. but it is thought to be responsible for immediate an nouncement. The search for new head coach probably will bring out / the fact that King Cole leaves a / mighty big hole. The great game in the east tomorrow is the Harvard–Army game at West Point.
