  UTAH WINS OUT IN SENSATIONAL GAME conviIle Makes Place Kick from So Yard Line-Colorado Took Big Lead, but Gould Not Hold II SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 14.-Utah university’s light football eleven over whelmed the University of Colorado eleven this afternoon in a game remarkable for its sensational plays, In Guiding a place kick from the 5S-yard line by Captain Conville of Utahs At the end of the first half 1t looked as though Colorado would win easily, as two place kicks from the 80 and 4S-yard lines respectively, by Sterrett, had marked up eight points for Colo rado university, while Utah had failed to score. In the second half, however, Utah played the visitors off their feet, max ing a touchdown five minutes after plav was started, and following it soon after with another Colorado. in the meantime, had scored a touchdown on a long forward pass and two hard line bucks, but Utah clinched the game with the same play. Conville’s 53-yard place kick followed. Both sides used the forward pass frequently.

Conville’s SO yard place kick followed. Both sides used the for ward pass frequently.
