SPORTS OF ALL SORTS Many Hard Battles Fought on the Gridiron Saturday. BLUE AND GRAY WON TIGERS SCORED NOTABLE VIC TORY OVER WEST POINTERS. High-Class Women Golfers in Best Ball Match-Basket Ball and Indoor Base Ball BLUE AND GRAY WON The foot ball games of Saturday failed to bring out the accustomed surprise. Har ward was the only big team that did not win. being held to a nothing to-nothing score by Dartmouth. Yale played Brown and won without undue exertion. as did Pennsylvania from Lafayette. Princeton had her haads full with West Point, but had the game safe once she got into good working order. Cornell ran up big score against Lehigh. and the Navy trounced Pennsylvania State. Against West Point Yale and Princeton did about equally well in rushing and in detense Reckoning by the game each played at the Point. next Saturdays clash between the blue and the orange and black will be as hard-fought as any e-Princeton game ever was. with the teams so nearly even in ability as to make the toss of a coin as good a line to go by anything else. Each team Is potent in attack. and therefore scoring may be expected from each. The latter will also be the case IL recent traditon is lived up to- In six out of the last nine faie-Prlnceton games both sides have scored. The scores for those years: 1896 Yale co.
