  PRINCETON WAS RATIFIED Small Score Made by Tigers Against Dickinson Princeton, N. j., Sept. 29.--The tigers defeat ed Dickinson yesterday afternoon in their first gridiron struggle by the score of II to O.. After the first touchdown, made early in the first half, Princeton seemed to go to pieces on interference and allowed Dickinson to get within ten yards be scored on, but tumble gave Princeton the ball. The weak positions in Princeton’s line seemed to be center and left guard as Dickinson pounded those positions for frequent gains. Mccormick and Stannard, the two freshmen, showed their ground-gaining abilities, scarcely ever failing to give less than three yards; :, King recovered thirty yards and the tigers held the ball except for two downs until by series of well-directed line plunfges Short scored for Princeton. Fouke kicked goal. In the second half Princeton held the ball most of the time. Mccormick scored early in the half and kicked a goal, making the score II to 0 in favor of the tigers.
