  LEHIGH DEFEATS OLD RIVAL. Final Score IL to Q in Game With Lafayette Bis Crowd. BETHLEHEM. Pa. Nov. 2l.-Sot less than 10000 persons, an unprecedented attendance at O football game In a small town. saw Lehlgh beat Lafayette l2 to o this afternoon. Lehlgh fumbled the ball often. one tumble being costly. Lafayette seldom threatened Lehigh’s goal, and her score was the direct result Of fumbling. Both elevens played hard smashing line attack in the first half with honors pretty even. but on the delence Lehlgh excelled. holding Lafayette three times for first downs. Holding Lafayette for downs on her 2O-yard line at the very start of the game, two 20-yard end runs by Butler and Capt Farabaugh. together with line plunees by Torrey and Landefeld, advanced the ball sixty yards.
