IL CAP).-Houston’s Cougars overcame a bad case of FUN blitis in the final period today and rolled to a 7–⁠6 football vic tory over Florida State on the passing of Quarterback Don Sessions. On the second play of the fourth quarter, Sessions fired a 12-yard touchdown pass to Halfback Ken Bolin to cap a 52-yard drive. Eddie Mitchamore kicked the extra point. Florida State came right back with a furious passing at tack that carried 81 yards to a touchdown in the final three minutes. Quarterback Ed Tran cygier fired a 20-yard scoring pass to End George Tillman. The Seminoles went for the two points but Trancygier’s pass to Halfback Carl Meyer was too high.
