  Colorado Defeats Iowa State, Aba BOULDER, Colo, Oct. 81 Colorado’s Carroll Hardy bolted II yards around right end for a tie-breaking touchdown to beat Iowa State, 41–⁠34, in the last two minutes of their Big Seven Conference football game today. Two aerial scores and a 79-yard ground march boosted the 1owans into a 21–⁠7 lead in the first quarter. Ronnie johnson of Colorado pleased the 22,5OO Homecoming fans with a 94-yard kickoff return for the Buffaloes’ first touchdown.
