Tulsa ‘Whiz Kids Upset ViI|anova, 1T TULSA, Okla, Oct. 14.-Tulsa University’s youthful football team, playing like something out of a coachs best dream, exploded for three first-half touchdowns today and wound up with smashing 27–7 triumph over Viii lanova. The spark that ignited the Golden Hurricanes offensive blast was Ronnie Morris, sophomore from Lakeland, Fla, who alone gained 231 yards of Tulsa’s 483 total yardage-172 by passing. He threw one touchdown pass for five yards to Fred Smith in the second quarter and his tosses figured vitally in two other Tulsa scores. 1t was one of Villanova’s passes, from % yards from Bill Brannau to Dick Bedesem, which scored Villanovas lone tally in the games dying moments.
