On the third down, Downing managed a short pass, but sub tackle Dick Valentazs grabbed itl on the La fayette 13 and dashed over for the decisive touchdown. A hard man for the Lafayette pass defenders to cover, Sella took Kazmaier’s 14-yard pass alone in the end zone to put Princeton ahead, 1877, in the third period. He made it 1877 when he took McCandless’ 22-yard aerial on the Lafayette Is and fought off two tacklers to go over standing up. Holden Scores.
