In the final period Tech opened it’s bag of tricks and cruised 81 yards on passes, laterals, reverses and end-around plays. The score came on an eight-yard aerial from Ed Holtsinger to Walter Killer. Jack Helms conversion was good and Tech led briefly to 6. But on the kickoff Montgomery raced from his Is to the Tech 80 and the Tigers drove to the 20.
