A back field shuttle necessitated by injury will send Ralph Lime man. 95-pound sophomore, into the Georgetown fullback slot normally occupied by bruising Johnny Bar rett when the Hoyas tangle with North Carolina Navy Pre-Flight’s 5 crack football team Saturday night at Grifith Stadium. Barrett, injured in the Detroit game 10 days ago, will be available for duty but Coach Jack Hagerty prefers to pick his spots. Linneman will receive the starting assignment as q backfield that otherwise will be comprised Of Ed Agnew at quarter back, Paul Walsh at right half and Bill Mclaughlin at left halt. Agnew, who was replaced by Joe Gyorgydeak as starter against Boston College, played what Hagerty stamped as his best game in three years with the Hoyas. The Eagles were giving the light 1rishman . terrific pounding, but Hagerty says through it all Ed directed George town nicely despite the 47–0 score against the Hoyas. Hagerty Praises Derringe. Praised by Hagerty. too. is 1885, pound Ed Derringe. who will sup plant Whitley Erickson at center. Ousting Erickson is a compliment in itself. but Hagerty says, “Derringe played a remarkable game against Boston College He may have been playing over his head but he did everything right and ! have to give him another chance off what he showed in that game” -. Meanwhile. reports from Chapel Hill, N. c., home of the Navy Cadets, indicate 1t. .Comdr. Jim Crowley’s outfit will attempt to whip the Hoyas through the air. Crowley yesterday had Len Eshmont, Lou Bufalino, Joe Martin and Art Jones darkening the sky with passes. Kicking also came in for attention, due to the Cloudbusters’ poor exhibition last week, despite defeating Syracuse. ~ Georgetown also is likely to enphasize air attack, for no team has scored through the Cloudbusters’ line. Pre-Flight’s line, in fact, hasn’t permitted an advance inside the Is yard line. In that line, at tackle, incidentally, is Joe Frank, q former Georgetown player. Trips Sure to Be Tough. George Washington also is prepairing to strike through the air
