  FOOT BALL GAMES. Wesleyan Scores Against University Princeton Defeats PENNSYLVANIA. Philadelphia, Oct. 1S.-The UniVersity of Pennsylvania foot ball team was again scored on today. this time by the Wesleyan college eleven. Penn sylVania, however, won the game by a score of II to 8. Wesleyan’S touch down was made on a 7S-yard run by Wilcox on double pass and was one of the longest sprints made on Frank lin field this year. Pennsylvania S playing today was an improvement over that of her last few games, but the work of the team, as a whole, is still far from what it should be. In the first half the players went about their work in a listless sort of way, but in the second half the men showed considerable spirit, and as = result made two touchdowns in this half. Wesleyan played a strong and steady game. Pennsylvania made her first touch down in the first half on Smiths thirty yard run to the five yards line and Hare’s plunge through the center. Wesleyan’s touchdown was also made in the first half. In the second half Pennsylvania scored twice. The first touchdown was made by the Quakers LuHlDllllS On tllS Ten dlu llllt, lie Sll- Yer picking it up and making the ten yards before he was downed. The last touchdown was made on a series of line plunges and short end runs. Dawilson taking it across the line. Princeton, n. j., Oct. 1S,-The Princetons today defeated the Pennsylvania State College eleven by a score OF II to 0. Halves Of fifteen and ten minutes were played and the game was fast and exciting throughout, Line bucKing and running character ized the better part of both halves. The Princeton players Outpointed their opponents in nearly every play. The State colleges chief faults were slow ness in getting backs started and poor interference. The State college sell dom gained through the line One touchdown made made in each half After repeated plunges through States line, Beardsley landed the first touch down. The second touchdown was made .n the last half by Reiter’‘ plunge through left tackle. Mil. Kicked both goals.

Pennsylvania playing to-day was an improve ment over that of her last few games.
