Colonials Have CHANGED. DUT the present-day Colonial eleven D is far cry from the one that met the Blue and Gold at the beginning of the last decade, when George Washington had just re-entered intercollegiate foot ball after a lapse due to the World War. Jim Pixlee’s warriors of 1884 have shown they are tough to conquer, as Louisiana State will attest following its close squeak here last week Not only will the Colonials be out Saturday to even an old score, but they will seek return to the win column after two straight defeats. West Virginia, which has beaten DuqueSne among others and only re- Gently lost 20–27 heart-breaker to Fordham, figures to give the locals all the competition they can handle comfortably. Indeed, in some minds (besides Mike PALMS, George Wash ington will be lucky to win.
