  CLEMSON TEAM To TEST DUKE DURHAM, N. c.. Oct. 5.-With the arrival of Clemson’s Tigers here today, the stage was set for the major early season football engagement in the Southern Conference which will take place in Duke Stadium tomorrow afternoon when the boys of Jess Nicely meet Dukes Blue Devils. The kickoff will be at 2:30 o’clock. Fresh from a great stand against Georgia Tech which might have been victory instead of a 12–⁠7 defeat but for tumble on the 1-yard line, the Tigers are rated to be enough opposition to give the Blue Devils one of their hardest games of the season.
