For so minutes it appeared as though the Blue and Gray would celebrate Georgetown’s home coming day with the first and only major triumph of disappointing but commendable cam ‘paign. Stocky Joe Saverine, playing inspired foot ball, personally accounted for a 12-to-0 lead, while line loaded with seniors playing their final game proved q stone wall when the West Virginians advanced to within scoring distance. Then came the blow-off. Passing, plunging and battling for every inch, the huge Mountaineers from the Ale gheny Highlands struck twice in quick succession, leaving the previously joy Gus Hoya supporters stunned. Two passes-one a forward heave and the other a lateral-produced touchdowns and big Angelo Onder, left end, capped the amazing uprising with two unerring place-kicks for the extra points.
