The Maroons have some fancy backs Of their own in Ber- Wanger, Nyquist, thinner and Sab lln’ but they have yet to go in big time competition. Iowa, with two weeks rest. is IA yored over Wisconsin, but the Badgers are due for a strong come back after the Illinois drubbing. as Doc Spears teams are always toughest to beat after being beaten. In intersectionaI battles, Mime sofa, tied by Indiana and Purdue. meets Pittsburgh at Minneapolis ana Illinois, surprise winners over wisconsin, engages Army at Cleveland. The two Big Ten teams do not concede anything to the casts two unbeaten outfits and will go INTO Saturdays games on even terms with the invaders.
