Georgetown Pops Up Georgetown, barely expected to score 20 points all season long comes from 0-to-13 deficit at the half to tie, Manhattan at 20 to 20. Both have done considcradle defrosting since the Puritanic movement overlook college football and their Saturday game was as true an example of Simon Pure intercollegiate rivalry, though not a traditional one, as the weekend provided. An upset, and a moral victory Tor Georgetown. Virginia leads Columbia at the half by 6 to 0 and only to take a 15-to-6 whipping from an eleven coached by one of the greatest mentors in the country who always, given h half a chance, has good teams-Lou Little. Almost an upset and a score too close to be comfortable for the Lions. Curly Byrd, with as mediocre team as Maryland has, trotted out on the field in vars and vars, inspires his lads to hold Tulane scoreless for two quarters and then take but a 20-to-0 licking. ‘At’s football for you. u never can tell!
